Local Government Managers Australia (LGMA) is the leading professional association representing managers and aspiring managers in local government throughout Australia and Asia-Pacific. Our purpose is to promote excellence through the advancement of local government management. LGMA supports the voluntary adoption of targets by the sector and individual Councils for participation of women in local government decision making positions. National Local Government Managers Australia facilitated a Skills Shortage Forum in Canberra to explore and define skills shortage issues in Local Government.

The site incorporates clear navigation, quick links to key areas and an attractive flash banner, which cycles through the capabilities of the organisation. A prominently placed newsletter sign up tool, allows users to quickly and easily sign up for the organisation’s newsletter. Incorporating a news module, the site effectively displays current news items, as well as providing a back end interface where administrators can update news items on a regular basis. A contact page provides a spam protected enquiry form and a Google map for locating and contacting the organisation.
Exa has created a professional interface for a nationally recognised association, which facilitates greater interaction with its targeted audience, as well as providing an informative interface to browse through information about the organisation.
