I'm so glad we are doing business together and we are now expanding our website with you after only 4 months!

From mid 2008 to late 2009 we found that enquiries from the Yellow Pages started to drop off severely. Lucky for me, I can now see some light thanks to Exa. Around August 2009 we had a meeting with one of your consultant's Christina Giuffre. I signed up on the spot taking a gamble and hoping this would help my business, as this was how desperate our situation was at the time. We really needed this to work and it made sense that putting us on page 1 of Google would attract more customers.

Our project manager or ‘Master Technician’ (as we call him): Ernez, worked on designing and creating our website, as well as utilising professional copywriting to increase the customer focus of our approach in appealing to and attracting our target audience.

Within the first 4 weeks of the site going live, it was hard to judge whether it was working yet because the rankings had not had enough time to develop. We began asking our customer where they were finding us and at this stage it was 30% from our website and 70% from the Yellow Pages. Now in February 2010 this trend has reversed with the website more strongly attracting customers than the Yellow Pages advertising. This has caused us to invest more in our online strategy to keep up this momentum.

Another observation I have had during this time includes the increase in our turnover levels from January 2008 compared to January 2009: we are no longer experiencing a downturn. Also customers are openly commenting on the ease of use, design, layout and great content provided on our website.

In the future my plan is to phase out Yellow Pages advertising altogether; as it is apparent that today’s customer is more time sensitive and less likely to pick up the heavy YP book when they can easily Google on their computers.

Overall, I feel more confident in my business and strongly believe in investing online with Exa. Exa’s customer service is refreshing as their follow up is excellent but they also care about providing the best solution for me and challenging me to think about ways to boost my strength online.
