Global Learning Village (GLV) is an initiative for international leadership in economic and social development. Frank McGuire’s pioneering work on the model has been nominated for the Metropolis Awards for 2011 and has been presented to 130 international cities. The strategy behind the Global Learning Village is to co-ordinate partnerships between the three tiers of Government; business big and small the community and philanthropic sectors to deliver smarter, healthier, better connected communities.
The GLV website was developed to promote Frank McGuire's GLV's initiative and encourage individuals, organisations and communities to recognise and support the community driven model online. The website promotes the organisation's philosophy of "Attitude, Education and Opportunity" and allows supporters to express ideas and contribute to the project via the user-friendly online contact form.

The design seamlessly integrates the organisation’s key messages and values with intriguing visual elements to reflect an excitement for educational opportunities for those in disadvantaged communities. As the organisation relies on support from the public, the site was designed to encourage users to participate via sponsorship or expression of ideas.
The latest news section lists relevant articles and allows users to see the most recent information on the initiative. An interactive video embedded on the website highlights and explains the evolution of the organisation; showcasing the nomination for the Metropolis award. The blog listing enables members from the GLV to provide relevant information in a social forum.
Each sector is broken up into specific pages: Inclusion, Communities, Leadership, Partnerships, Resources and Contact; specifically designed for targeted usability. Sponsorships and testimonials are listed to showcase the current support and invite new partnerships.
Exa has established a professional site for the GLV; one that is aesthetically pleasing yet meets the objectives of the organisation.
