Configuring an Email Account on Outlook 2003

e.g.: How to configure an email account for john.smith@mydomain.com using Outlook 2003?

1. Click on Microsoft Outlook 2003



 

2. Click on TOOLS -> Email Accounts ...
3. Select Add a new Email Account and press Next



 

4. Select POP3 and Press on Next



 

5. Enter Following information
   Your name – John Smith
   Email Address – john.smith@mydomain.com
   Incoming POP3 Server – mail.mydomain.com
   Outgoing SMTP Server - mail.mydomain.com (or use your Internet Service provider)
   
   Username - john.smith@mydomain.com (provided by EXA)
   Password - xxxxxxxx (provided by EXA)


After completion Click on "Test account Settings" to see if you get all 5 GREEN ticks. And Press on "NEXT"

 

6. Now you have successfully entered all the required details. To finish the wizard Press on "Finish"
