Configuring
an Email Account on Outlook Express
e.g.:
How to configure an email account for john.smith@mydomain.com using Outlook
Express?
- Click on "Outlook Express"
- Click on "Tools" -> "Accounts"
- Click on "Add" -> Select "Mail"
- Type "john smith" as the display name and
press "Next"
- Type john.smith@mydomain.com as the email address and press "Next"
- Select "POP3" as the incoming mail server and type "mail.mydomain.com" as the incoming and outgoing Servers.
(you can also use your Internet Service Provider just for the Outgoing Server)
and Press "Next"
- Enter the username(usually the complete email address) and the password provided by EXA
Username – john.smith@mydomain.com
Password - xxxxxx
Make sure you have ticked on "Remember Password" and Press on "Next"
- Now you have successfully entered all the required details to finish the wizard press on "Finish"
- Press the "Close" button on Internet Accounts window.
- Try pressing on Send/Receive to see if you have new mails
