Digital Business Development Manager - Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney

Exa continues to grow! We're hiring throughout Australia as we expand and of course this position is a fundamental part of that expansion.

Our Digital Consultants generate and develop new and profitable business relationships with contacts at all levels and industries; setting up their pipelines with satisfied clients that continue to invest in effective digital solutions with Exa.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Talk to decision makers from your network to create and manage new business opportunities
  • Educate our clients on the digital landscape and how to achieve their marketing goals
  • Work with the creative and technical team to deliver best of breed digital solutions to our clients
  • Cause the highest level of client relationship management
  • Maintain your pipeline activity via our CRM
  • Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets


You must be extremely honest, reliable, hardworking, confident, well connected, a great communicator and get along instantly with almost anyone.

  • Proven ability to over-achieve your sales targets and you must have a proven track record in sales and digital solution sales. Do not apply if you don't.
  • Ability to understand and interpret customer needs and wants
  • Ability to translate this to the creative and technical team so they can take ideas and make them happen
  • Outstanding customer care and relationship development

Digital Producer - Perth

This opportunity may be available in other AU locations

Our Digital Producers are responsible for the coordination, implementation, delivery and post production of allocated web and digital projects according to budget constraints, timeliness and quality consistent with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare research and proposals for pre-sales presentations and assist the sales team with pitching to potential clients
  • Defining project scope, goals and deliverables that support client's business goals
  • Liaise with appropriate Exa teams and internal resources and coordinate team members effectively to deliver web solutions across a broad range of industries
  • Proactive management of changes in project scope, identifying contingency plans and up sell where appropriate
  • Actively manage the client's deliverables post launch including updates, assessing search engine rankings and post deployment issues coordination


  • Preferred - at least 5 years relevant work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation and delegation skills
  • Tertiary qualification in related discipline, such as IT, Web Development, Web Design, Project Management or Business
  • Excellent project analysis skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, internet applications and be technically competent
  • Understand scope management and requirements prioritisation with a keen eye for detail
  • Exceptional relationship building and communication skills
  • Preferred - business analysis and strategy experience or qualifications

Web Copywriter - Sydney, Melbourne and Bangkok

  • Play an integral role in projects for a wide variety of clients
  • Full time working in our Sydney, Melbourne or Bangkok offices with flexible hours

Are you an intelligent, organised individual with outstanding communication skills? Do you have the capacity to produce search engine friendly content for diverse portfolio of clients? Then take this opportunity to join Exa's dedicated online content team.

Our copywriters work with Digital Producers and their clients to create original and persuasive content for websites as well as blogs and social media.


  • Preferred - current IT blog content experience
  • Preferred - at least 2 years of online content creation experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail when researching complex subject matter or writing technical information
  • The ability to interpret clients' goals and communicate effective marketing strategies in the correct language for their target audience
  • Previous experience in copywriting, journalism, technical writing, marketing, public relations or similar
